Oklahoma deer archery and first ever bear archery seasons started yesterday. Just curious if there were any successful hunters yesterday? I don't get to go until tomorrow morning, and I'm fairly positive that the waiting has driven me borderline insane....

I havent heard of any success yet, I's sure there have been some. If your going for bear you'd better get out to the Ouachta National Forest north west of Mean Arkansas and soon, as It looks like only 25 bear can be harvested this year in Oklahoma.
Just going for deer, wanted to see how the bear hunt goes this year before I might give it a try. The quota is actually 20, and I've heard one report that 4 bears were taken yesterday but haven't been able to confirm that.

Yup good luck, I cant go till next week. Went bear hunting sat before last, found some sign but no bear.
