Have not used a buck bomb, but I have seen deer come in when using the smoke sticks. I like them because of price and they lasted longer.
I have used Tinks #69 with success in the past. I killed a high tined 7 point that was following a scent trail I put down. Also, I get a lot of pics on mock scrapes that I have doctored up with Tinks. I have not tried the bombs or any of the aresol stuff.
Useing a Buck Bombs is too earley in the season. its real good when the RUT is on, now is the time to use a cover-up sent in my State Fl.our first RUT starts in Black Power season.
Yes, they work. I had a 5-6 point walk in last year. Could have shot him but he wasn't big enough due to point restrictions.
I used one once with no luck. I an not saying that they are worthless, I believe it is worth trying again. I hope I don't make the same mistake I made on the first attempt. I didn't look to make sure the can was pointed in the right direction and I sprayed the inside of my hand.
My cousin sprayed it last October and had a 173"10-pointer come within minutes, which he shot. I've also had a nice 8-point come in shortly after spraying it. Whether or not they came because of the Buck Bomb is questionable, but after that you won't find either one of us without it during the rut!
