For rainbow you can catch 5 a day by the time you go home the max you can have is 10.

in wisconsin every stream is in a different catagory it changes with the body of water you are fishing and in alot of cases just crossing a road you will find that size limits bag limits and gear restrictions will change on the same body of water

Tough question for NY. General regs are 5 trout in combination, with no more than two over twelve inches. lake ontario tribs: 3 trout or salmon, but no more than one steelhead. lake erie tribs I believe are three fish. Finger Lakes are 5 fish, with no more than three lake trout or landlocked salmon. kinda confusing, so i go c n r.

6 in NJ from opening day of trout season to May 31st. It drops to 4 from June 1 to the end of the trout season. Certain waters have smaller limits.
